Recently facilitated a robust discussion with Omaha and Lincoln HR professionals at a roundtable discussion related to dress and image in the workplace. Our guest speaker was my spouse, Bonnie Balistreri of  Bonnie Balistreri Image Consulting

Two takeaways from this roundtable discussion came from the HR executives in how to engage an employee on the topic:

1) “You have your own personal brand and we respect that. You also have to consider the company brand especially if you want to continue to grow within the company.”

or

2) “We all dress for different reasons. Think about how you are perceived and dress for the job you want, not the job you have.”
