This is my firm’s continuing series about clients that I admire and learn from.
Casey Leaman, Principal of Escalade, LLC and also on the Board of Advisors at Baylor University for the Technology Entrepreneurship Initiative, is an amazing person and executive. 
His expert background is in the area of making sales organizations better and managing international companies. He has wide and deep experience in company entrepreneurship including research, product development, strategic planning, operations, sales and marketing. Although his knowledge is deep and seasoned in these areas, it is actually his soft skills that I am most impressed with.
We just had coffee this morning to talk about the market place and our respective businesses. Casey makes it easy for me to be direct and candid with him to a point where I feel I am talking to a caring family member. He also listens intently and always offers fresh ideas that I have not considered. There is a saying, “some people in your life will zap your energy and some people will give you energy.” Casey gives me energy and ideas to become better at what I do. He is a tremendous coach and mentor and I am lucky to have him in my corner.
