Weekend Visit In Austin

Austin is a great town to live in and recruit talented candidates to. I am asked numerous times during the year about what visitors should do in Austin over a long weekend.

Here are my top 10 list of things to do in Austin over a weekend. In no particular order…..

1) Take pictures at the top of Mt. Bonnell (a beautiful 800 foot high point within our city)

2) View the beautiful waterfall of Hamilton Pool

3) Enjoy a coffee and take in the SoCo spirit at Jo’s Coffee on South Congress

4) Enjoy an authentic Texas BBQ experience at The Salt Lick in Dripping Springs, Texas

5) Tour the flagship Whole Foods store at 6th and Lamar

6) Shop South Congress funky boutiques and shops

7) Kayak or canoe on Lady Bird Lake

8) On a really hot day, swim and enjoy the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs

9) Enjoy another coffee at Mozarts right on Lake Austin. Coffee with a view

10) Take in the live music and sunset at the Oasis Restaurant on Lake Travis

Enjoy each and every moment while you are here visiting the ATX. It is a special place.
