Assessing Our Presidential Candidates

As I watched the first debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, my mind wandered to an interesting thought: what if these 2 candidates were interviewing for an executive position at a company and what would I tell my client about each candidate?

Donald Trump

great energy
leads with his gut
risk taker and aggressive
high performance standards
outstanding business acumen and private sector experience
brings innovative thinking to old problems
too sensitive and takes things too personally

Hillary Clinton

prepared well for the debate
professional
careful with her words and deliberate
excellent resume and qualifications for the job
knows policy
resilient and will never give up
have concerns about trust issue

This is what I would tell my client: these two individuals are not perfect candidates. If you need a turnaround candidate for your company, Trump is your best choice. If you want to incrementally improve things for your company, Clinton is your best choice.
