Party Like It’s 2007

I do best my thinking in the shower. Heard the song 1999 by Prince this morning and that song led to a thought about the current economy.

It suddenly feels like 2007 from an economic perspective. My Austin based Executive Search firm has received five executive searches this year and it is only early March. A good, robust year for me is one per month or twelve new searches a year. Things are looking up and growing again.

Keep in mind that executive search firms are great barometers for what is going on with the economy. It appears that CEO’s are not hesitate to expand and look for the right talent to grow their businesses.

Great to be busy again. Party like it’s 2007 (almost like the Prince song).

Great times ahead and this is good for everyone.
