Giving Back

In partnership with my wife Bonnie’s business, Bonnie Balistreri Image Consulting, and my executive search practice, Salvatore Balistreri Executive Search Consulting, we would like to announce that we have set aside 4 slots over the next year for free services offered to the Austin community for people who truly need a job.

We all know people who are in great need and who are suffering from a job search that is not materializing for them. We would like to use our skill sets to help each person that is having a tough time by offering free services related to teaching strategic job search techniques (including a mock interviewing assessment) plus image consulting related to their professional look when they interview for a position.

Our respective firms will offer this at no charge and we will work with one person per quarter. Nominations to be obtained from our clients anytime during 2016.

Here are some examples of people who may be in need:

People who have not had any luck in finding a new position and they have been trying for many months
Back to work spouses that have been out of the work force for many years
Poorly educated people who are having a tough time finding a good position
Ex convicts who want to be successful and they need a coach to get them to the next level
People who are having a tough time finding a good job due to their age

Here is how you can help us:

Please nominate a person for our free services and the reasons why they are deserving. We will evaluate the situation and compare to other people who have been nominated. We will then alert you if the person you nominated is going to be contacted to start the process with them.

My wife Bonnie and I have been blessed and we want to give back to our community by using our skills that can enhance others in the Austin community who need a job.

If a person has a job, they have a chance for a happy, fulfilling life and they will make our community stronger.
