This is a continuing series about clients that I truly admire and who have made a big difference in my business and life in general. The first 9 parts of this series have highlighted the following clients and friends: Kasha Bartholomew, Paul Trylko, Casey Leaman, Karen Ganzlin, Mike Klockenga, Tony Budet, Debbie Mitchell, Vickey Thayer Kleinsmith and Richard “Rico” Grabowski.

Karen Barry of Karen Barry Creative Development (http://www.karenbarry.com) is a Vendor Partner to me in the area of website development. As I said three years ago on a Linked-In recommendation for her, “I am absolutely delighted to recommend Karen Barry to anyone who wants to launch or improve their business with an innovative and creative web site. Karen listened to me and captured who I am for my business, Salvatore Balistreri Executive Search Consulting. She kept me on track and always gave me many options to choose from for launching my web site. I also respected Karen’s design perspective and let her gently persuade me about what looks best with website fit and finish. Working with Karen inspired me.”

I admire her because she has a great feel for design and web sites and I trust her instincts on what works well in the market place and what does not work. She can push back to some of my ideas when it does not make sense from a design and/or audience perspective. She is usually 99% right.

I recently sat down with her to go over improvement suggestions with my website and the discussion just clicked. I can tell that she is very proud of the work she does but also just as interested in insuring that I am successful with my web presence.

Partner-Vendors that are just as concerned about clients as themselves are true Partners to keep for the long haul.
